I'm looking to lease a 305 acre waterfowl and world class turkey property with 1 1/2 mile of Platte River frontage near Bridgeport. The owner has done a lot of work clearing areas around blinds to create great spots for geese to land and has built dams in the back channel to be able to control water levels and create pools for the ducks. There are seven blinds in place, dekes so you don't have to haul, and the owner of the property will guide for you. That means all dekes will be out, blinds ready, and breakfast cooked! . DU will be coming in to do $250k worth of work to create deeper, bigger channels and there is a roost on the owners property that typically holds 3k-7k birds. There is also a primative cabin that will sleep 2 or you can stay at the local motel that is just 5 miles from the property for $40 a night. It also has a couple of deer stands, tower w/shed, one stand on tripod, and a couple of tree stands. So it can be used for limited Whitetail hunting and the occasional mule deer. There is also WORLD CLASS TURKEY hunting and the owner will guide for that along with the deer. You will be joining a hunting club which will give you access to any of the other properties I lease as well. Access is unlimited and no set # of days you can use. The others are in eastern Nebraska.
