Brooks Range Grizzly hunts are conducted under an exclusive guide area permit in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Hunts are remote fly-in and a whole wilderness experience.
Hunters fly 737 to Deadhorse and charter to base camp from there. App. $800 RT. Chances of killing a bear are really close to 100%. Never had a hunter on a strictly grizzly hunt fail to kill a nice bear. 7'.5" is average but big ones are over 8'.
There's usually tons of caribou around and that combo is easy. There's a $2,500 trophy fee on caribou after the Caribou is taken.
$200 gets a trophy to the taxidermist in Fairbanks from there the expediting varies depending what you want done.
License and tag is $585 for grizzly and $225 for a caribou.
Hunters will fly into Anchorage and get a connecting flight into Deadhorse. Alaska Airlines flies into Deadhorse a few times per day but always from Anchorage. You can get to Deadhorse connected by Alaska Airlines. The airport is called Prudhoe Bay.
Hunter will be hard pressed to find this quality of grizzly hunt these days for $10.000. If interested call toll free 1-877-647-9926 or email [email protected]
