Trophy Whitetail Hunts Kansas
Hey guys and gals, Jay and Kerry here at Buffalo County Whitetail Adventure. Due to our success and popularity in Buffalo County, WI, we are now expanding into Kansas. Kansas is getting to be very popular with hunters who enjoy chasing trophy whitetails. We only have one outfitter in Kansas right now, but he is by our high standards one of the best. We are hunters like yourselves and demand that we get a quality hunt at a fair price.
Our outfitter is located in north central Kansas and has access to over 10,000 acres of high quality, extensively managed land, and the best part is that all of it is private. The land is made up of crop fields which include: milo, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and wheat. It also has CRP, cedar thickets and hardwood draws. There are numerous stands that are already set up on the property, but you can still bring your own if you like. The stands are all 15’ ladder stands or tripod stands. The outfitter will take you to and from stands, and he does allow you to drive yourself there once you have become familiar with the property.
Also included with your hunt is lodging. The lodge is a 4 bedroom 1 ½ bath, with washer and dryer, deep freeze, dish network, internet, heat and central air. Your hunt does not include food, but all the kitchen amenities are there at your disposal. There are areas to hang and clean game, and also to fine tune your bows.
The outfitter will assist with the regular duties of a guide including; introducing you to the property (tours, topos, aerial photos, trail cam photos), moving and setting up stands and blinds, and removal of game from the kill site. He will also do one on one guiding with request. He does not provide meals and cleaning service for game harvested. He will help you with game cleaning but he does not advertise that as a service.
Kansas hunting license and deer tag are also the responsibility of the hunter.
Application period for the tag is April 1- April 30 and can be done online or over the phone:
