Texas Hog Lease
For about the same money as a good weekend day hunt you can hunt hogs on our property for an entire two months. If you would like to extend your hunting season during the summer, want to hunt hogs, and don’t want to day lease then this could be an option for you. Located in West Central Texas in Comanche County, we are 2 hours from DFW Metroplex. One and a half hours from Waco and one hour from Abilene. We are utilizing a deer lease format for hogs. The terrain is rolling hills near river bottom. Thick brush comprised of oak. Elm trees located in the bottoms. Property has a nice creek and another draw running through it. Camping is available onsite and hotels are nearby.
The term of this lease will begin on June 1 and end on July 31, 2008. (It is yours for 2 months). This will give 2 to 3 hunters exclusive right to hunt hogs on said private property. Hunt from the ground, use blinds, spot and stalk, or spotlight over bait. Absolutely no dog hunting or trapping allowed. Any legal weapon is acceptable including archery. You can place your own equipment, stands, game cameras and feeders on the property just as you would on a standard deer lease-or use ours. We have attempted to manage our hogs for years and there will be a harvest restriction applied. We have killed some big ones. You can also hunt coyotes and fish. Familyfriendly. We are avid hunters ourselves.
Incumbent party will have 1st option on lease next year. In addition we will be offering another 2 month hog lease starting January 2009. PM me or email @ [email protected]
