I recently was awarded the exclusive rights to lease and hunt 3 seperate tracts in IL and IA. These properties have been controlled by an organization that has not allowed hunting of any type at any time for nearly a CENTURY. The boundaries are regularly patrolled to ensure that trespassing was not an issue. I am taking a VERY limited number of hunters in these properties to ensure that this world class opportunity is managed properly and never over hunted.
The 2 seperate IL properties are located in Adams and Hancock counties, these tracts consist of large hardwood stands and rough terrain. The number and quality of deer on these properties is truly incredible, they have been a refuge for many years.
The Iowa property is in SE IA, Zone 6, Van Buren County. This property borders a State forest and is predominantly timer. This piece has also been untouched by hunters for decades. If you are interested in Hunting Iowa please make sure you have at least 2 preference points before you contact me.
In order to keep the hunting to a bare minimum a higher price is needed to cover the expense of this large tract and investment. 5 day bow hunts will be $3500. and Gun Hunts will be $4500. I live in that area and I know which property you are talking about. The place is amazing, loaded with world class deer. A couple of years ago, a buddy and myself were driving by the property you all leased and saw three bucks chasing the same doe. It wasn't just three bucks....two of the three were around 200". The other was a 170" typical. It was one of the most amazing things I had ever seen. I know for a fact the place hasn't been hunted for at least 50 years. My grandfather wasn't allowed to hunt there when he was a kid. Amazing place, I live in the general area and I would consider paying to hunt this place. Isn't it like 900 acres of continous timber/draws. How much for the hunt?[/align]
