Texas Hunting(WOW what a Deal!!)
Located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Harper, Texas. We have all types of hunts, whether it is a meat hunt or that big trophy to put on your wall. We try to keep our prices at a fair and reasonable amount. We offer walk and stalk, safari style, or stand hunting. It is all about what you desire as your wish is our command.
Kramer Hunting is a family owned and operated ranch. We also have access to other ranches around our area. Surrounded by huge oak and cedar trees, Kramer Hunting has both high and low fenced hunting. A crystal clear creek flows through the area providing a cool place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Kramer Hunting has all of the services that you would expect from a fully operational hunting ranch. Your hunt is fully guided to ensure a successful hunting experience. Skinning is available and price varies depending on the size of your animal. Game processing is available on-site. Your meat will be vaccuum packed and ready for storage when you leave the ranch. We work with a taxidermist so that you have time to enjoy what you're here to do. Let us help you with it all.
During your off time you can search for Indian artifacts, sit around the campire telling stories, roasting marshmellows, or relax in your bunkhouse. If you would like the ranch to yourself you may book your hunt with six or more hunters and we'll guarantee that your group will be the only ones on the ranch.
Animals available at Kramer Hunting include:
Axis Deer
Axis deer are a moderately large, spotted deer with three points on each antler. Their hides are yellowish brown to dark brown dappled with white spots. They range in size from 26-39 inches tall and weigh from 90 to 200 pounds depending on the age and sex of the deer.

Blackbuck
Blackbuck are small antelope. Males are dark brown and white, as they mature their hide turns black. They are usually 32 inches tall and weigh about 90 pounds. Their horns are about 18 in. long. The females are fawn-colored above and white below. Blackbuck are extremely fast and are difficult to hunt. They are a great challenge for the experienced hunter.

Buffalo
Buffalo are the largest animal in North America. They are usually dark brown, with shaggy mane and beard. Buffalo have broad, massive heads, humped shoulders; and both sexes have short black horns. Buffalo may range in height from 5-6 feet and weigh from 800 - 2,000 pounds.

Dove
Doves are native to Texas and require a license to hunt. Hunting season usually begins around Labor Day. Dove are usually 6 1/2 inches, brown with dark tails.

Elk
Elk are very large with thick necks and slender legs and are usually brown or tan. Bulls have up to 6 tines on each side of their antlers. Antlers can reach up to 5 feet high. Elk range in height from 4-5 feet and weight between 450-1,100 pounds.

Fallow Deer
Fallow deer are brown with white spots on lower sides and haunches, but may also be black, white, pale yellow, cream, silver-gray, or piebald with white stomachs. Buck's antlers measure about anywhere from 12-30 inches from tip to tip. Fallow deer range in weight from 90-250 lbs.

Hogs
Wild hogs have a variety of colors but are most often black, brown, gray, or black and white. Their coats are usually coarser and denser than that of the domestic pig. Wild hogs can range in size from 3 to 4 feet and weigh anyway from 70-440 pounds. Hog hunting is generally done during daylight hours but for an additional fee we will let loose the hounds at night where the hunter will have to take his prize with a Bowie knife. This is a adrenaline rush not to be missed.

Rams
We offer a variety of rams to fill your Texas Slam (Black Hawaiian, Texas Doll, Mouflon, Corsican) or if you are working on your Big Horn Slam add our other rams (Marino, Catalina) to your Texas Slam. We also offer Four-Horn, Aoudad, New Zealand Mountain Goat, and Red Sheep rams for your hunting pleasure. Management rams are also available. These make great hunting trips for first time hunters and youth hunters.

Red Deer
Red Deer are Elk-like in appearance, though they are smaller in size. They have a distinctive reddish brown coat that varies from light tan to dark brown. They have multiple point antlers and weigh between 375-1,100 pounds.

Sika
Sika are a medium-size deer in various shades of brown with many white spots on back and sides in 7 or 8 rows. Bucks have narrow, backward-directed antlers, with 2-5 points per antler. Antlers range in height from 12-26 inches. Sika range in height from 3-6 feet and weigh 90 - 300 pounds.

Turkeys
Rio Grande turkeys range in height from 36 to 48 inches and weigh between 15 - 30 pounds. Turkeys are usually brown with variations of color from bronze to red in their feathers. Males have spurs and long beard that is usually 4-10 long on breast.

Varmints
Varmints abound in the wild outdoors but like most predators they have learned to hide. Several species of varmints have been spotted but are difficult to take. Test yourself against nature's wildest predators.

Whitetail deer vary greatly in size. They are typically tan or reddish brown above in summer; grayish brown in winter and have the distinctive white tail on the underside of their tail. Buck’s antlers spread to 24 inches and may have multiple points. Whitetails weigh between 90-150 pounds.
