Wyoming Elk Hunt
Available Dates:
Archery: September 1 - 30, 2006
Rifle: October 15 - 31, 2006
Description:
Come hunt with the oldest outfitting camp in Wyoming. Located in the lower Hoback/Snake River area near Jackson Hole and set in the Bridger-Teton Forest, this camp is over fifty years old. They do not depend on the snowfall or migration to have good elk hunting. They are there all year round. Our upper camp is set high up off Wolf Mountain where the deer and elk really do roam. This area is consistently known for its trophy heads. Hunts offered for the aggressive hunter, as well as the non-aggressive hunter.
Lodging:
If you want to hunt the high country, our upper camp is just the place. It is accessible by horseback only, a twelve-mile horse ride in and magnificent hunting from there. Due to the rugged terrain, hunters going to this camp should have basic riding skills and be in good physical condition.
