I try to face my cameras facing down a trail. That way the deer are walking either towards or away from the camera most of the time. If you're using yours on a feeder, I don't know the solution to your problem. Maybe just a lemon. BTW, how big was it's butt?

On mine, you have to have it in test mode to rewind. It took me a while to figure that out. I had to call them to find out. If you think it's a lemon, I'd call them and request another one. Good luck!

I had it in test mode, would act like the batteries were dead not enough power to rewind it. I would replace all of the batteries and still did the same thing. I bought it from Cabelas. Awesome customer service. Had it for a year and they gave me a full refund. Actually They asked if I would like a refund or store credit. I took the in store credit and as usual I found someting there that I had to have.
