Something to compare with other safes. Start with top figure and look at where the temp.
is on the interior of AMSEC is. Look at thier Top fire rating and amount of time.
1850* for 2hrs. and still the interior is 350*.

This another good one by PENTAGON SAFE. This is a double WAMMY!
Start at $4000-$5000 depending how and what you want in it.
This one has pegs on doors for Handguns.
NOTICE THE SMALL SAFE INSIDE, it's for cash or jewels.

RE: For MD Piney
Ah, now I see why most of the safes I've looked at have the 1200 degree, 30 min rating. 1200 degrees is the avg temp of a house fire and I take it that an avg house burns for about 30 min till it's either to the ground or a firehouse responds.
Some of those examples are probably a little to much safe for me. I think a +/- 18 to 24 gun safe will do, gives me some room to grow! Also probably not looking to spend over $2K. That info probably narrows down my options a bit.
Thanks for all the info!
