RE: Fujinon Scope
Me again... Actually i have seen an ad for one of the scopes and may be interested. When i did research i could find no reviews but i did find a couple places that sell them. The optics from Fujinon seem to be quite expensive, thus i assume the quality matches. Just would like some input.

Lorson:
I have a pair of 10x70 Fujinon binoculars that are optically excellent. I bought them for astronomy. They are a bit heavy for most hunting applications, weighing in at about 77 oz, but I have used them pronghorn hunting, for example. I have had the binoculars about 12 years now.
Based on my binoculars, I would conclude that Fujinon is capable of making very high quality optics. At the same time, rifle scopes have special requirements that binoculars do not have -- such as withstanding high impact forces imposed by rifle gun shot recoil while maintaining the zero of the reticle.

RE: Fujinon Scope
thanks Alsatian, The one supplier had the 4x12x42 (which is the one i am concidering) for $386.00. The Sportsman's Guide has the same scope for $149.00. They indicate Fuji has discontinued the model. I have found that to be true.
