RE: Scope Info.
LocknLoad,
I would suggest a look at the Swift line of scopes. I started using them 2 years ago and for the money spent have been very pleased with them. I have a 3x9 variable on my 30.06 and couldn't be happier. I paid $120 for the scope and it has a lifetime warranty, just bring it back to your retailer if something goes wrong and he will replace it there. You don't have to wait for it to go back to the manufacture to see if it will be fixed or repaced. Hope this helps.

RE: Scope Info.
my ol man has a tasco 3-9x32 world class on his 30-06 and it workes great, not sure how much it was though. i just bought a 30-06 a few weeks ago from a guy, the gun is brand new (i know the guy) he fired eight shots total on the new gun, and the scope on it is a 3-9x40 tasco world class and i am sure the scope will work just fine. i think tasco is a good quality scope that is affordable for hunters.
