Burris scopes any good?

RE: Burris scopes any good?
So far so good. I have been a big Leupold VXIII fan for many years. I bought one of their Fullfield II Ballistic plex and had it on a 7MM Rum and it has worked fine and the clarity is that of my other Leupold's.

I have a Burris Black-Diamond, mainly because I got a good deal on it. But it's a great scope. Anybody that looked through that scope would not be disapointed. But that is also their top of the line model, so it is costly. Burris Scopes are American Made.

RE: Burris scopes any good?
Just picked up a 4.5-14 Fullfeild II, ballistic plex, mounted with burris rings. Mounted it last week took it to the range on Wed. sighted in quickly on my win 70 in a 7MM RM shooting 139Gr spbt. Broke it in last weekend took a pig, 125Lbs, at last light on Friday night and then another pig, 175Lbs, at first light on Sat. Good in low light. I would compare them to Loopy VX-II or the Nikon scopes.

I got 5 of them 2 2-1/2x7's on handguns, 1 1-1/2x6 Signature Electro Dot on inline, 1 3-x Electro Dot Signature on 270 and 3x9 Compact on 7mm-08. Never had a spec of trouble with any. The Signatures are as clear as any scope I've looked through..including my Zeiss. The handguns scopes are probably the best scope for handguns on the market..The compact..sucks. I would go Leupold for the compact if had it to do over.
