RE: BSA Scope?
BSA scopes are garbage, I wouldn't spend my "$$$$$" on them. I was at the range 2 years ago sighting in my Remington 700 in .300 Win Mag., next to me was a guy sighting in his .30-06 with a BSA, the cross haires fell from inside the scope with his 3rd shot.

I have a BSA spotting scope 20-60x60. Paid 60 bucks for it and I should've burned the money instead. The thing is horrible. Dark and fuzzy. I ended up shelling out $250 for a Leupold. Money well spent. I guess I'll try to sell my BSA on Ebay to recoup some of my loss.

I'm a firm believer in quality scopes!! BSA is NOT a quality scope! A cheap scope will only cost you in the long run. I'm not saying go out and spend 400 or 500 bucks on one, but Nikon, Leupold and Bushnell all have scopes in the $200 range that are clear, bright and will serve you well.

If the cost is the issue I would recommend the Optronics Buckridge models. These scopes have an unconditional lifetime warranty and appear to be pretty good optically. One thing that I noticed is that they advertize amber tinted lenses on their website. The best optics are free of the amber tint for clarity reasons. This is why Zeiss uses lead free/arsenic free glass in their Advanced Optical Systems. My opinion is that if they advertize the yellow tinted lense, they have no clue as to what their doing optically. You're money is best spent elsewhere.

Save your money and buy a good one next year. I have bought cheap scopes in the past then the next year I had some extra money for hunting and wished I could take that scope and my extra money and create one good scope. So I have been saving up for a year and I am about to purchase the best scope for the money that will last me years to come. A Swarovski. Remember you get what you pay for.
