Doesnt really matter, but those two are the best. Yamaha has a slght performance advantage while the honda is bulletproof. buy the one that feels best to you.

I had to force myself to retire my 20 year old Honda 3 Wheeler, to upgrade to a four wheeler! My choice, Honda Rancher! The 3 wheeler is still running for someone else!
You can't kill a Honda!

We had two 84' model Honda Big Red's and I loved them! One of them is still running for sure, but I don't know about the other. My buddies and I went riding last Thurs. Two Ranchers and my Kodiak. My best friend sunk his new Rancher in about 4 feet of water/mud. It didn't matter that he has 4wd, because NOBODY could've gone through it. He didn't mean to, he slid off the trail into the hole. It took my Kody and my brother in law's Rancher both to pull him out. I felt bad for him, because his Rancher only has like 5 hours on it. It'll survive, though.

i'll tell u i own both a honda and a yamaha both good atv's the hoda is a four trax 300 and the yamaha is a 2005 600 grizly and u cant beat the power that grizzly has it is the only 1 on the market with a true 4 wheel drive system in it u can go from 2wd to 4wd and then go to high and low and them super low in it it has it's own loking diffren... on it and all 4 wheels really do turn it will either bury it's self or pull it's way out but the honda also is ver reliable too bc i have mine since 99 and i bought it new and will also go any where too but as far as pulling power u cant beat the 600 grizzly

You can't go wrong with either. I have a 02 Kodiak 400 4WD. It's been good to me, but the hondas are definately built like a tank as well
