Im pretty interested in the 673 in .300 ultra mag and by looking at the remington website it appears to be the best thing since sliced bread. Anyone have have any feed back on it ?

The 673 is definitely a different looking gun, haven't heard anything bad about them yet. Personally I would go with a standard chambering or the short mags, be easier and cheaper to find factory ammo and won't beat your shoulder up as much.

RE: Remington 673 guide series
I dont know about the 673's, but the 600 & 660 are great rifles. They just handle and come to shoulder awsomely. Everyone who has ever shot my 600 has tried to buy it. I did handle the 673 and it was n't quite as natural to the shoulder as the older version(600,660).
