dont know if this will help but as far as rugged in extreme climates i have some info. while hunting maine the last couple years the forrest service had new dodge trucks and got rid of them according to my guide over one issue or another overbreak down and reliability related issues. when i was up in northern quebec the hydro power company drove all suburbans and chevy pick ups. both of these areas i hunted were extremely rough on the vehicles bumps wise as well as damn cold! i say get a new chevy or ford . i heard ford has a great new design but i always like to wait a year or two till the recalls and bugs have settled down a bit.
