They do everything they're supposed to. Some down sides are..... they can get too hot if the weather is warm and it hard to judge the distance of a sound that you hear(but not direction). In a duck blind though you'll be glad you had em at the end of the day.

A number of years ago I was hunting carrying a box type seat wearing my ears. I got tired and sat down, pulled out my hot coffee and relaxed. Until I swear I heard a dear just about to step into my back pocket. Scared, I slowly turned my head to see a healthy 3X3 at 103 feet. When it stopped and look away from me, I raised my rifle and took him down.
I found them to be more than a bit hard to get used to. I was shocked at the noise I make while hunting. I also am a bit jumpy because until you get used to them, everything is about to step on you. Flies to deer. Once you get used to them it's amazing what you can hear. By the way, shooting with them is a non-thought. They blank out the shot.
