Honda is the way to go. I have a 98 honda 300 4wd. Super swamper tires and added a locking differincial. 2000 superwinch. I wouldn' t trade it for anything. We ride every weekend and the 300' s out class most others.

Started out with a couple Suzukis, but the maintenance and repair costs were horrific. Now have 2, a Big Bear for me, and a Timberwolf for the wife. Maint & repairs have dropped 15%. They both seem more reliable. The wife, (age 74) loves the soft ride of the Timberwolf. At age 69, I also enjoy mine, and it does a lot of chores on the farm. A hunter friend also goes Yamaha, but my Nephew bought a Kawasaki, (But He did get a real deal 2nd. hand.)

i have a cousin who just bought the eiger, he loves it. my brother has a polaris and it is great. he rolled it down a huge sand pile, only cosmetic damage. i rolled it down a hill in the woods, no damage at all. it sounds like the changes to the polaris drivetrain have made them even better.
did i read in an earlier post that the kaw 650 only goes 45mph??? what good is that big motor if you can' t go fast?
what are the top road speeds of some of these 4 wheelers you all have. the polaris explorer 400 goes about 60+. it was killing the honda froeman (topping out at 47mph) the eiger was somewhere in the 50' s
