I have tested all my old white clothes in under a UV light and they glow like lights. They have never been washed with regular detergent, still they glow. The other day I was in Cabela's looking at winter camo and most of their gear appeared TOO white to the naked eye; except one. I noticed their "Seclusion 3-D Open Country" looked a little duller than the other garmets. Sure enough when tested under a UV light it looks almost black. The only part that glowed was the trim on the inside of the zipper. You can either keep it zipped up or dull it with paint or a marker.
P.S. The "UV Killer" on the market is only marginally effective. I used a whole bottle on a vest and it only got rid of about 30% of the glow. Tested it on both white and blaze orange.
Now ifI can find some UV Free blaze orange.
