I have not had a lot of luck with the Moultrie 3.1 that I have. It is very fickle..

I've had great sucess with a moultrie game spy.The only bad thing about it is the way you attach it to a tree.

there are a couple routes you can take here wes. you can buy a bunch of cheap cameras that don't work very well. or, you can get the best (cuddeback) and pay a little more. like many other things in life, you get what you pay for. if you use a 100 dollar bow, drive a 500 dollar car, and buy generic brands of food rather than "the real thing", i would say go with a stealth cam or maybe a moultrie if you're really desperate. if you are willing to spend a little more to get high quality pictures, the fastest trigger time, the longest effective flash, and the longest battery life, go out and buy a cuddeback. i've been using the same one for three, going on four seasons without a problem. from the coldest of cold to the hottest of hot this thing out performs every other camera on the market. i'm going to post one of thousands of pictures i've gotten off of my cudde for you, which in turn will lead people to post pics they have taken with lesser cameras, you should be able to see the difference without much trouble.
