I've looked at some of the new LED flashlights and have been impressed. They are bright enough to navigate at night and the battery life is extended many times over the bulb type, instead of hours of battery life, the batteries in the LEDs burn for days. The new flashlights have multible bulbs, and are availible with 1 LED lamp up to twenty; twenty being the largest model I have seen to date. Some models have a dial that turns on the various bulbs as needed. Head lamp models are available that have both LED and a regular bulb when extra bright light is needed. And the LED bulbs do not burn out. These new flashlights will soon make the old bulb flashlights outdated.
