I guess that was for the noise when they are pulled open? My brother picked us up some the other day on sale at a local store for $39. I haven't got them yet but he did say they kinda clicked when you pulled them open and the legs hit together but otherwise he like them. Where did you put the o rings and fittings? Got a pic? Thanks

I like them, they work good. As far as the noise issue, I think when I pull down my bipod, it is just as loud as the sling stix.
