Default Shooting Rests

Ok, im kinda new to all this. I have a summit revolution climber which is great for bowhunting but i dont feel comfortable shooting my rifle out of it. I need something to help me aim steadier. I dont want to buy another stand if i can help it. I was hoping maybe some of you have some suggestions to help me shoot better, whether its some kind of shooting rest or just advice. Any input will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Default RE: Shooting Rests

My buddy uses his sling as an aide when shooting free hand either ground or treestand. Just raps it around the elbow, then cocks the elbow out and this pulls the sling tight and the rifle into the shoulder. You need to adjust the sling so it is nice and snug when you cock your elbow out. Just an idea!
