i wonder if there is any scientific proof that screw in pegs damage or kill trees. i have never seen any major damage on the trees ive used in the past. i would think the trees brush it off in most cases. anybody know?

You know I doubt that using screw-in treesteps on a larger and healthier tree would likely have much of a detrimental effect at all.
