RE: Garmin Rino 110
4 of us bought the 120's 2 years ago for use while elk hunting. While 2 of us have had problems with our units, Garmin was quick to repair them. I think the radios work as well as any and I think that Garmin makes the best GPS out there for personal use. They are great when one has game down and your team mates are coming to help. They know exactly where you are.

The 2 way radio doesn't have a lot of range, due to restrictions placed by FCC, in which Garmin could only use a certain wattage. But that has since then changed. With the new Rino 520 and 530 units, the range is awesome. No longer any radio contraints on those!

Got a 130. The GPS is great The radio works very well. My only beef is that it absolutley EATS batteries. On a cold day with then GPS and radio both on and only occasional talking, alkaline batteries sometimes dont last the day.

Myself and my hunting partner have the 120's and they are great. You always know where everybody is ,one other feature I like is that you can project a way point out to everyone and meet there. As for the distance thats not bad for us because we are almost always with in 2 miles of each other
