my suggestion would be to get a stealth cam from walmart. they are around 50$. it will be more than enough to get you started. just use at least 400 speed kodak film. if you dont like it you can return it but im there are a zillion or so pictures on this site from that cheapo camera

"Good" and "won't break the bank" do not go along together unless your bank is well stocked. It is my experience from testing nine digital scouting cameras that to get good you will have to go over $300 at least.
I would also recommend that you go digital. They pay off big in the long run.
