Barrel De-resonator by Limbsaver
Well gentlemen, the test is over. IMO don't go spending your cash on a Limbsaver barrel de-resonator. It didn't work for me at all. Here are the results:
Ruger M77, 300 Win Mag. There was no difference in accuracy with it off or with it mounted near the stock or near the muzzle. I attributed to the heavier barrel on the Ruger
Next I mounted it on my Browning Micro Hunter 7mm-08. At near the stock position my 5 shot group was a very ugly 6" and vertically strung. I slid it up to near the muzzle and shot a 3 1/2" 5 shot group. After removing it completely and shooting another 5 shot group, my group size returned to its 1 1/4" size.
I took it back for a refund and bought a pound of Varget powder to try a different loading.

Sniper now that's downright rude!! How'd you know I had a spare tire on my vette's trunk? It's easier to get to instead of unhooking my ATV or bass boat trailer if I get a flat on those nasty unpaved backroads.
But the good news is that I took that 'thing' back to Gander Mtn. and got my $ back.
