Developed by WAIDWERK, this water dummy promotes concentric gripping and prevents the dog from shaking itself dry after getting out of the water.
Absolutely new kind of training device for the hunting dog's work in the water. With the WAIDWERK WaterDummy the dog learns to grip the game concentric. The WAIDWERK WaterDummy prevents the dog from shaking itself dry after getting out of the water.
This training device consists of a floatable, firm to the bite hard-foam dummy and two laterally fastened unfloatable hard rubber balls. The distance between the two hard rubber balls and the dummy can easily be changed.
After you throw the dummy in the water, the two sinking hard rubber balls make sure the dummy lies horizontally in the water. The dog is forced to a concentric grip. Gripping at the front of the dummy is not possible due to the fact that the hard rubber balls would be in the way.
The WAIDWERK WaterDummy is 2-colored (black/white) to make sure that it is visible no matter what color the backround.
Many dogs feel the urge to shake themselves after getting out of the water. The WAIDWERK WaterDummy prevents this from happening via those hard rubber balls, as they would painfully hit the fang while the dog would shake itself.
