Sure you can hunt pistol in Dorchester, even on public land. Lotsof outfitters in Dorchester now to hunt sikas.
I am going this Sat. to Blackwater refuge.

Texas has all kinds of exotics running around. Some have been released and many have gotten lose from game farms. I have personally seen Red stags, axis, and audads that were free range here in Texas. Good thing about exotics in Texas, no closed season, and no bag limits. Just wish I could find some where I could hunt them.
