Cool... sounds like everything and maybe even a kitchen sink! I'm looking at a mini 14 right now, I like follow up shot capability

I just sold my .243 so I only have one gun for deer and hogs. A .22 Hornet. Makes it a little bit between bow hunting and rifle hunting, I have to get closer than I would with a big caliber but a bit farther than bow hunting.

60# Darton Bow with 3 Blade Rocky Mountain Ironheads-have never shot any biggame animals with a gun. This is two from June 2008 on a 3 day Bowhunt in Oklahoma.

Mostly a .50 muzzleloader. Have also killed hogs with.22 LR,.22 magnum,.22 Hornet, .223 and larger calibers.
One place i huntis federal property andwe are limited to a .17 rimfire, a 5.5 rimfire,a .22 LR or .22 Magnum there. Killed a lot of hogs on that 14,000 acres with my Ruger 10/.22 and a .22 magnum.

I use a Mossberg 835 with a fully riffled barrel topped with a Bushnell scope. Load that little bad up with Hornady SST's, and I have me one mean little killing machine.....

I've taken far more pigs with my .223 than with my other guns combined, but I'll use whatever is handy. Every gun in my arsenal has killed at least one pig, and that includes my 10/22.
