Reb
Is your A-5 a magnum or light 12?
It will handle Light Loads & Heavy Loads 2-3/4"ONLY!......Itcame with 28" ModifiedVent Ribbed Barrel which I have used many times for Quail and I also purchaseda 30"Full Plain barrel for Ducks and as you can see on the photo, a Hastings Full Rifled barrel for Hogs & Deer.........Jeff, the reason it looks good is because I also have many other shotguns that I also use!

Whenmy present wife (of 40yrs) and I were engaged, she bought it asmyXmas gift in 1967 at Sears & Roebuck for $167.00....According to the serial #, it was manufactured in 1965....
I will gladly give you your money back on that gun.

I have been shooting a Benelli for the last 13 years, but I have a 1970 model A-5 Magnum that I inherited from my Dad. My Dad was killed in 1974, and he gave a guy he worked with $100 for it just before he died. I wouldn't take anything for mine.

This response is for Derick who wanted to know all about the wild feral hog. Good luck on your next hunt.

If the information you seek is not here, you don't need it ! ! ! ! ! !

Quick ???? .
A friend gave me 2 3/4 " 20 gauge slugs . My dad recently passed and gave me an old Stevens model 94 , 20 gauge . It says ithas a 410 bore and 3 " chamber. Do I need 20 gauge 3 " slugs or can I use 2 3/4 slugs " ??
Thanks guys , I'll also try this in the guns section.
Just want some bacon

.410 is much smaller than a 20 gauge. I guess it would be possible if you had an O/U and 1 barrel was .410 and the other 20 gauge... maybe idk lol

Slugs are sold in boxes of 5 shells so it's cheap to try several different brands. Find which brand is the most accurate and use it. All slugsmake a huge hole and kill quickly.
