Thanks! I'm on a steep learning curve on this hog hunting. The only time I ever shot a wild hog was one in a dirt tank in South Texas while deer hunting. I learned you let them crawl out of that soured mud before you shoot them!
I have a pop-up ground blind. If I set it up in an area with a lot of sign and baited with post holes full of soured corn and use my bow or pistol for a 20 yard shot....is that an acceptable strategy?

Heck yeah that should work. One thing though. Make sure you put that pop-up down wind of where you think the hogs are gonna come in. They have a better nose than deer. Now that I think about it put it up wind of Ausie!
