All the hogs Ive shot with a rifle in the last 7 years have been with my 300 wby.My 300 has no problem problem punching the shield, and everything else for that matter. But yea, I could see some calibers having a difficult timepunching the shield.

congrats my friend, I wish I can bag me a hog like that!!! I was suposed to g hunting this year with my grampa (he goes every year to Vermont) but, they can only have guys on there that are at least 16, insurance reasons. but my grampa said ofr my graduation pesent, he'll buy me a hog hunt
