Last one I shot with a bow, I hit angling to me or maybe broadsided, and he ran like crazy, and friend saw him and saw his intestines hangin out. I learned that you got to get the angling away shot. Everyone else I know that has tried cutting thru the breast plate or the shoulder has failed to reach the vitals no matter what broadhead they used.

The thunderhead can however brake off easily off arrows. Maybe the muzzy might be a little stronger.

They should be fine-I have taken several with Rocky Mountain 3 blade Razors & Ironheads.

P15,

By the time you read this you will have been hog hunting. I hope you got one. As for the thunderheads, I've been using them for over 20 years and never had one fail on hog or deer, from any angle. As any broadhead, if it's sharp, it will cut, even thru the shields on a hog, been there and done it. dog1
