Wrangler Sight

Wrangler Sight
Back in Sept I bought a Ruger Wrangler and I previously posted that it was shooting anywhere from 4" to 7 right of POA at 20 yards using a variety of ammo. Calling Ruger they said that this was acceptable and wouldn't do anything about it! Buying the revolver for plinking I like to hit what I'm aiming at without doing any "Kentucky windage"
I was thinking about this on and off while I was down in FL and last night I came up with an idea. I took a 1/2" washer and cut it down then filed it to a close profile of the front sight, painted it flat black and, using a small dab of PC7, I epoxyed it to the right side of the sight.
Once I see how it shoots I'll do the finish metal work.

I figured the epoxy was set so I ran put to the nearby woods and did a test firing. This target was offhand at 15 yards. I'm mad at myself for dropping the barrel on that last shot. I'd say problem solved. The larger hole left of the bull is where the bullet impact knocked off a sticky. t.
