Default Llama

I know they're cheap, but i have a friend who is CHEAP!!! and wants a 45 and saw the Llama at Academy for 250 +20% off. he wants to get it saturday. Was hopeing i could get some INFO on them if you know NEthing.

Thet are a pretty fair gun for the money. I had one once and it performed pretty well.

I agree with James. The ones I've dealt with have been decent shooters and cycled well with ball ammo, but some HP's didn't feed very well. That's a fair price for a fair .45.

im riding with him today to get it. gonna cost him 208 before tax. Thinking about gettin me a springfield GI 45 while im there. I have a Kimber Tactical but its to pretty to take in the woods =)

One of the guys I hunt with has a Llama he warns me everytime we go out not to shoot it!!

lol nice little 45 he got. shoots pretty good we put 50rds threw it with not problem. no HPs yet but it cycled fine pretty nice for the 200 price tag.

The absolute worst pistol I ever owned was a Llama. I couldn't shoot three rounds without a jam. When I actually shot I couldn't hit a 12 inch target from 30 ft.

Your friend is wasting his money unless he likes $200 paperweights.

LOL JCC. I don't blame your buddy for forbidding you to shoot his "LLama". They just don't give them away.lol Popeye, ALL companies can and do produce a lemon from time to time, just sounds like you ended up with one. Like I said, I've shot several Llamas and all functioned very well, minus the use of HP's. If I all I could afford is a cheaper semi, the LLama would be definately on my short list.
