I just got a good deal on a Belgum BLR with cheap 4 power scope in 308 that is mint for $200.. I have no interest in the 308 and would like to rebarrel it to 358.. Anybody know what this should cost? ..Thanks Bill

I would think that Browning could pull that off and cheaper then having a gunsmith do it especially if you want the iron sights reinstalled. Does your model have a satin finish and impressed checkering?

They are going from $650 to $850 in smaller calibers. I have had one in .358 for about 10yrs.
My A-Bolt is in .338.

Browning will not do it nor do the sell barrels. I guess it will be a gunsmith. Does anybody know where to get a factory barrel used or new ? ..Thanks Bill

338, try here. If they can't, they might recommend some one.

look at #5 in the services

They list several bolt gun actions, not sure if they will do a BLR? Call 'em & see...

Just about any reputable gunsmith should do this with ease but the point is BRowning should do it as well and for less money. If you want to rebarrel a Ruger or a Remington the factory will do it on their guns..can't figure out why Browning will not do this other then they are cost cutting.
