What this nation needs is IDIOT Control. Gun control as practiced by leftist politicians only serves to increase the regulatory burden on our society; it does nothing to help people live together peacefully and respectfully (sorry, rant over, I know I'm preaching to the choir here... )
Here Here Jmfa1957. Absolutely the answer. Thanks for putting it so well.
The best thing that decent gun owners can do for the future is to have a bunch of kids, raise them to be decent law abiding citizens, and teach them to enjoy the shooting sports. Teach them to be respectfully vocal about their freedoms - - ALL of their freedoms, especially in the colleges and universities. Vote. Show up at city council meetings and let your voices be heard. Patronize those businesses that support your freedoms, try to avoid those that don't where practical. Support right to carry laws in your state, and if you have the right to carry, do so in a responsible manner. Be respectful of private land owners, and if you own huntable land, consider letting people hunt on it.
