    You will love the 270 for deer. I used the 130 SST bullets in mine and they work great.

    You've done well. A 270 is hard to beat! The Savage is a solid rifle, too.

    My brother has the same gun and he swears by it.For years he shot a 30-30 and then we finally talked him into a gun with more range . Now its all his idea . Congrats on the gun .
