RE: Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer
Last fall was shooting 3" groups at 50 yards at our local Rod & gun......Used it during deer season as well & was shooting at running deer at 125 yards, shot where it was supposed to Shoulder area, But never led my running deer, & why i know this, Is because I seen my sabots hitting the snow, just behind her tail, Perfect height, which i was amazed at that range. & yes you can buy bird barrels for this 16 gauge threw Ithaca.com, Or a specified dealer.....You can check it out on there web site 1st.....Also i'll throw in i think i have 15 boxes of 5 shells in each box rifled slugs, they were givin to me So you can have them if you buy the gun, just pay shipping for the slugs.....

RE: Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer
Ok so far this season Shot (2) doe with my 16 gauge Ithaca , starting to like it better than my 12 gauge Ithaca, Tried new federal slug designed for smooth bore barrels threw it, But still Winchester rifled slugs work the best.....But using my Muzzleloader ( Knight Disc) at the moment Need to get a deer with that ( Buck) only tag I have left under regular season, until Muzzleloader season here in NY starts up Near end of Dec....
