I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure the only German-made rifles sold under the "Western Field" name were the Mauser-licensed Heym models (720A or maybe 720B, with three letters like "EHM").
I ran into a guy at a gun show who was a collector of these rifles; I think he went around and bought them up cheap from people who didn't realize what little gems these rifles are.
