RE: Burris Fullfield?
Interesting discussion here, now to the point. I consider the 4-14 FULLFIELD II with the ballistic plex reticle to be the most outstanding value / performance scope made period. I have changed out all but 2 of my Leupolds one of which had to go back to the factory twice for internal failure/repairs. I shot a buck and a doe this past season with my Steyr 7x57 both 1 shot kills and the doe at 347 yards...The second peg down worked perfect. This reticle takes all the guess work out of long range shots. The optics are wonderful and they gather light better than my old Zeiss that I bought in Germany while in the service. The zeiss conquests are terrific but for 250 bucks less, I can't justify replacing 9 scopes for marginal performance gains. By the way, it is my understanding that the conquest parts come from all over the earth....lets face it, this is a global economy whether we like it or not. That being said, the stylized American Flag pisses me off. Regards, Rick.
