Simmons Blazer Scope w/Boresighter???
I just bought a Blazer 4x16x40 Simmons Varmit scope with a built in boresighter, I got it at DICKS sporting goods, ( for $10.00 ) it had been in a closed showcase for a couple of years, and it is in new condition, except for the instruction Manuel, I guess it had been losted, although I am a seasoned Hunter I have never seen a scope with a built in Bore sighter, it has an additional know on its left side which when rotated 1/4 turn exposes a post inside the scope which somehow is used to boresight the gun, I found some info on the net that tells me to put the gun on a solid rest and then turn this knob 1/4 turn then fire one shot and the ??? it dont tell me anymore, although it does show in a illistration the post ( in the center of the scope and the scopes regular crosshairs off center and up to the right, I am assuming that after I fire that one shot I then reposition the firearm into the same position I had it before the shot now using the center post on the Bull and adjusting the cross hairs to the impact point, Does anyone know if my thinking is correct. any feed back will help Thanks.

I hope you have better luck than I had.
I bought a Blazer red dot sight ,it would go off if you bumped it .
I returned it to the store ,got a new one ,this 1 would not hold zero on a 22 rifle.
Took it back and got my $$ back.
