Alpine firearms
i havent seen many of them around except my fathers so i was wondering if anyone had had any info at all on this rifle or any idea of what it might be worth hes not planning on selling it but a couple of years back we saw a person selling one just like this for $1100 CND i was just wondering if he was out to lunch or if he knew somthing we didnt. ok about the rifle

any info is apperciated. the bolt is jewelled and the stock is in near perfect condidtion.

The rifle looks like it is made by Parker-Hale, which was a birmingham rifle company that produced mid priced sporting rifles up untill early 90's. Ican't see the action on the rifle in the pic but P-Hs normally had a Mauser 98 action. I think yours would have been made for export ,P-H made rifles for other more expensive makers such as Dicksons and Rigby who then stamped thier name on it. Parker-Hales have always been "hard working" rifles and although not the fanciest they will last for years I've had many in .243, .270. ,.308 and 222.
