new gun
hi i'm thinking about a browning micro meddalion in 7mm o8. the gun fits me nice. its also very lite. i'm interested in hearing anything about these guns from any one who might own one, or heard something good or bad.

I own the A-bolt in 7mm-08... I love the 7mm-08 it is probably one of the true whitetail deer cartridges out there along with the 257 roberts and 260.
Possitives with the browning = great fit/finish, matte barrel (personal), low bolt angle (60 degrees), and nice ballance (again personal). I am not very pleased with the accuracy out of mine, 1.5 inches at best, and for that price I think the barrel should be free floated and the action bedded right out of the box. I like the gun, but I will probably have this done to mine in the not to distant future. If I were you I might look at a Sako 75 hunter for a little more, or possibly a Weatherby Mark V or Kimber 84, but all those will cost a couple hundred more.
