Sellier and Bellot ammo, any good?
Does anyone have any experience with Sellier and Bellot ammo? I can pick some up pretty cheaply at Natchez but don't want to regret it later when it is time to get my elk..... anyone??

I shoot a lot of there 303 brit ammo and 12 gau buck shot. The 303 is the most acurate in my enfeild and the brass is great for reloading

IMHO Sellier & Bellot makes fine ammunition. But I would chose a premium bullet over it though. Most of their offerings are soft point. It might work fine, but I would want the assurance that the bullet will perform. Just my $.02

Good Practice ammo - for hunting I'd look elsewhere though.
I tried some of there 150gr FMJs in .308................it had a slight SWC edge on the bullet.................cut the cleanest hole in paper that I ever saw a rifle cut.
But you might want to be careful with their pistol ammo. I tried a couple boxes of .38Spcl and had a couple cases split wide open on me. I then reloaded the leftover cases a few times and had a few more case ruptures. SO at best, I can say that their quality control may not be the best..............but it hasn't been dangerous as of yet.
