Extrema Review
I was looking for some reviews from Extrema owners on these guns. Is it a good gun for a hunter that primarily goes for pheasant and turkey but may get into other prey in the future? How has it performed for you? Is it a better buy than a Benelli SBEII or MII? Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

RE: Extrema Review
Turkeys yes, pheasents no. I don't recommend any 3 1/2" models for primary use as an upland gun. While it will work for upland, its more of a waterfowler specialists. It has a big feel to it. It swings smooth and steady because of it's weight and length. It does balance that weight well but, I wont use the words quick handling in describing the Xtrema. It's a very different design than the other Beretta semi auto's. It's pretty easy to clean and has a lot of features. Is it a better buy depends on each person, if it's a better buy than another. I think Benelli's, Beretta's and Browning's are good buys. I think the Beretta 390, 3901, Franchi 612, Weatherby SAS, and Winchester SX2 are great buys. For your uses I would recommend a model with a 3" chamber in camo or synthetic. Take a look at the above manufactures to see which one YOU like the best.
