NO! Do not use anything tighter than modified choke with buckshot. Anything tighter can cause potentially dangerous situations as the shot is actually constricted too much and can cause pressure problems possibly damaging your barrel. 00 buck is only good out to about 30-40 yards anyway. If you want to go past that and still use a shotgun, switch to slugs.

Now, most people have seen bad patterning results with Full. Best seems to be IM or M. You owe it to yourself and your hunting to try.

OOPS! My mistake. It's slugs that should not be used with a full choke. (According to Mossberg) Guess I should have gone back and re-read my facts before posting. But I was sure I was right, Mossberg is the one that's wrong. I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
