Cleaning a Marlin model 60 22lr, How do you do it!
How on earth do you get the bolt out of the gun without taking the stock apart? can you? the gun is old and in great shape. i have had it for 20 years and just wipe it down and rod it after I shoot it. well the bolt is getting pretty nasty and it jams alot. Anyone had any luck taking one apart before?1

No, you can't get the bolt out without taking it apart...even if you could get it apart, you'd sure as hell never get it back together...
Why are you hesitant to take it apart? Marlin 60's are about as easy as it gets to take apart for cleaning. Two screws to get the stock off, and either two screws or two pins to get the trigger group out and you can take the bolt out, I can strip a mod 60 (Or variant) in under a minute, probably less than 30 sec if I were really trying to...assembly is pretty much just as quick.
