well took the rifle out today and set up a 8.5x11 target........25yrds away...... I have no shooting vise or rest......... so i kneel down and use the sling to help me steady the rifle....
the target is marked off in 1sq inch blocks... bullseye consisiting of a 2"x2" block....
shot 1 is and inch low and on the left hand edge of bullseye....
shot 2 is dead center bullseye.......couldnt have made it any more center if i done it by hand!!!
so i have to say that the method of boresighting by looking through the barrel and lining the scope up works great!
